Fair Taxes

On        Now Is The Time !

                 Fair Taxes for the People

Taxes for the middle class have risen, in the past few  years, to unsustainable levels. Land and school taxes are driving people from their homes, some of whom have  lived there all of their lives. The tax burden has been shifted onto the backs of the working people. What we need is a “Fair Tax” one in which all share the responsibility. Corporate profits and fair corporate taxes are good, but excessive greed and corporate welfare must  be a thing of the past if we are going to survive as a nation.

                          Health Care for All

We need to have quality, affordable health care in

this Country for everyone. We need to stop insurance

companies from making our health care decisions.

Here again we all must take some responsibility.

We, as Americans, need to take better care of

ourselves with diet and exercise to cut down on our

health care needs. Insurance companies need to give

up some of their record profits and become a more

responsible part of this great community we call the

United States of America.

                           Border Security

We must secure our borders for  national security

reasons. There are a lot of reasons given not to secure our borders, but none are valid when compared to protecting America.

       Support A Responsible Troop Withdrawal

I  won’t list all the mistakes made by the Bush

administration when it comes to the Iraq war,

but I will say that we have made  a huge mess over there. We now have to put pressure on the Iraqi

government to get it together and make the hard decisions that must be made to organize their government, train their army, unite their people, and secure their Country, so we can bring our brothers and sisters home. The Iraqi Govt. has not gotten the job done, so if it means starting to draw down our troops to put the needed pressure on them, then that’s what we must do.                     They won’t take the steps needed unless forced to. That is clear.

“For The Truth”

Responsible Spending

Have you ever asked yourself, “ What the heck are these politicians doing with our money? “

I will bring a working man’s approach to the budget  process.

Times are tough, and I will show the politicians how to prioritize and how to balance a check book, just like we have to every day.

Rudy Guiliani was asked by a reporter how much a gallon of milk costs, and his reply was, “ A $1.50 “.

Politicians are out of touch with average Americans like you and me. They think money grows on trees. When times are good they spend it all. When times are bad they spend it all and then borrow, so they can spend some more.   We know that when times are good, we must put money aside for a rainy day.

Say No” to Business Deregulation

            and “No” to Corporate Lobbyists

With record Corporate profits, the incumbent, Marc Molinaro is calling for yet more business deregulation.

He says that this will spur the economy. “Hold on to your pocket books folks” because that’s what we’ve had for the past seven years “Deregulation”, and I don’t think our economy can take much more of that kind of stimulation.

We need businesses in our state to create jobs. 70% of all job creation in the United States is created  by small businesses, so why are we giving 160 billion dollars a year in welfare to big Corporations who ship our jobs overseas. Because, they have the lobbyists.

When a politician says he wants “less regulation”, that means a continuation of the same policies we’ve endured over the last seven plus years. “Deregulation” gives more control to the corporations.

They will pay even less taxes than they do already.

They will pay lower wages than they do already.

They will pay less of your health insurance and give

      less to your pensions.

Deregulation means less consumer protection and more unsafe products from China., more profit saving pollution and less taxes for corporations, and even more taxes strapped to the backs of  the Working People.

If you want Change…...You have to Vote!

A Letter to “The People”

I have lived in Dutchess county all of my life. I am a carpenter. My wife name is Tracy. She is an R.N.. We have three children, two boys Dana Jr. and Zachary and one girl Zipporah. My wife and I are coming up on our  23rd wedding anniversary.

I am not running for NYS Assembly because I want a career in politics. I am not running for the power or the spot light. I am running because I have seen what has happened over the last seven plus years to the working  people in our region and around the United States. If you want the “Truth” , then here it is. I have seen what happens when “The People” don’t get involved in politics. Your vote does matter. I have witnessed record profits for corporations . I have witnessed our manufacturing base being shipped to countries with lower wage workers for higher corporate profits with no regard to the American People.

I have seen the influence of corporate lobbyist’s, Deregulation, and our unfair, so called Free Trade Agreements destroy lives. Deregulation has allowed corporations to pollute more causing cancer and other ailments. Deregulation has given the American People unsafe products, higher health care costs, higher food prices, higher land and school taxes, and higher prices for gasoline and heating oil while giving Corporations record profits.

I have also seen an awakening of the American People. Democrats, Republicans, and Independents are coming together all across America and voting for change. We all have had enough. Now is the time to take our Country back.

      Vote, it’s your future!

                  Thank you for listening,
